Move Out Tips

Checklist for an Easy Move Out

• Make sure carpet cleaning is complete & deodorized (if you have pets). Upload image of the receipt to Property Meld.
• Have flea treatment completed (if you have pets) & upload image of the receipt to Property Meld
• Make sure to replace all burnt out lightbulbs, smoke detector batteries, damaged blinds, dirty stove drip pans and HVAC filters
• Clean all appliances thoroughly, sweep & mop floors and dust fan blades and windowsills. Wipe down countertops, clean bathrooms & vacuum carpets
• Remove all personal items from the property (check cabinets, closets and any additional storage areas)
• Leave 1 working key in the lockbox with the code provided, and all remaining keys/garage door openers on the kitchen counters. Upload the image to the Property Meld associated with the move out process. Secure the unit upon leaving.

Our move out inspections are handled by a 3rd party vendor who will reach out through the Property Meld system to schedule your move out inspection.
